PSM Graduate Boothe Featured in KU Graduation Profile

Friday, May 20, 2016

Professional Science Masters graduate Rachael Boothe was recently profiled in a University of Kansas blogpost article in the segment  "Learning Without Boundaries."  Boothe related her unique experience in the article that traced her journey from working in the sterile world of information technology to eventually receiving her Master's Degree through the Professional Science Master's (PSM) Program in environmental assessment from KU which allowed her to work out in nature.  During this process she had to work full time and go to school full time.  Boothe said she felt it was all worth it in the end because she was able to pursue her passion in environmental studies that she believes will ultimately will result in the job satisfaction she was lacking in her previous career.  The PSM program is offered at the KU Edwards campus in Overland Park.
