Homes to Watershed Workshop

Tuesday, September 8, 2015

Homes to Watershed Workshop - 2pm-5pm - September 19, 2015 - Lawrence Public Library Auditorium - 707 Vermont St. Lawrence, KS 66044

This free workshop will explore the effect of harsh house cleaning chemicals on our families and the watershed.  Experts will share what happens to the water as it's flushed down the drain, treated at the Wastewater Treatment Plate, released into the river and eventually pumped back to our faucets.

Attendees will learn how to make simple natural cleaners and walk away with a free starter kit.  A limited number of started kits are available.  Register to secure your spot.

This workshop was made possible by the "Protect Your Playground" Grant from the Copper Mountain Resort
